*HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDIES FOR HIGH LEVEL OF CREATININE IN BLOOD*
Creatinine is a chemical waste product that is produced by muscle metabolism and to a small extent by eating meat. Healthy kidneys filter creatinine and other waste products from the blood. The filtered waste products leave the body through urine.Creatinine is produced from creatine. Approximately 2% of the body’s creatine is converted to creatinine every day.
If your kidneys are not functioning properly , an increased level of creatinine may accumulate in your blood. A serum creatinine test measures the level of creatinine in your blood and provides an estimate of how well your kidneys filter.A creatinine urine test can measure creatinine in your urine.
Most men with normal kidney function have approximately 0.6 to 1.2 milligrams/deciliters of creatinine. Women usually have lower creatinine levels than men because women on average have less muscle than men.
*Causes*--Any condition that impairs the function of the kidneys is likely to raise the creatinine level in the blood. It is important to recognize whether the process leading to kidney dysfunction –kidney failure- is longstanding or recent. Recent elevations may be more easily treated and reversed.
The most common causes of longstanding , chronic kidney disease in adults are—high blood pressure and diabetes.
Other causes of elevated blood creatinine levels are-
· Certain drugs e.g. cimetidine can sometimes cause abnormally elevated creatinine levels.
· After ingestion of a large amount of dietary meat
· Kidney infections, rhabdmyosis, abnormal muscle breakdown and urinary tract infection may also elevate creatinine levels.
Creatinine test—A creatinine blood test can assess the creatinine levels in blood if you show signs of kidney disease. These *symptoms include-*
· Fatigue and trouble sleeping
· A loss of appetite
· Swelling in the face , wrists , ankles or abdomen

*CUPRUM ARSENITUM 3x*-Cuprum ars is also a very effective remedy for high level of creatinine in blood. There is kidney inefficiency and uremia. The urine smell like garlic. Urine of high specific gravity increased, acetones and diacetic acid.
*CUPRUM ACETICUM 3X-* In Cuprum aceticum the tongue is pale , coated with lot of mucus. Anemia. Pulse rapid. The patient is chilly. Breathlessness with dry cough. Cannot eat or drink without retching.

*LYCOPODIUM CLAVATUM 30*—Lycopodium is an effective remedy for high level of creatinine in blood. Urine scanty , cries before urinating, red sand in urine, must strain, suppressed or retained. Urine milky and turbid. Sometimes haematuria . Urine is burning and hot. The right kidney is mainly affected. The patient experiences impotency.The patient likes warm food and drink, also there is intense craving for sweets.
*APIS MELLIFICA 3x-* Apis mel is another effective remedy where edematous swellings of face and extremities are present with thirstlessness.. Urination frequent but scanty. There is a feeling of suffocation and breathing difficult. All symptoms are worsen from heat and better from cold.
*CANTHARIS 30-* Cantharis is best for kidney failure where uremic delusions with sens of persecution is found. There is suppression of urine with restlessness, flushed face and sparkling eyes. The patient has an urge to pass urine but nothing is voided, there being no urine in bladder.
*TEREBINTH 30-* Terebinth is prescribed where uremia with spasms and lock jaw is present which may be occurring every 15 minutes. There is violent convulsions producing most frightful opisthotonos.
*HELLEBORUS NIGER 30-* Hellebotus is best for high creatinine in blood with remia and unconsciousness. Pupils dilated and insensible to light. Convulsion is present. The body have a strong urinous odor.
*UREA 30*—Urea is prescribed where uremia is present. Urine is thin and of low specific gravity.
*BELLADONNA 30-* Belladonna is used in the acute stage where uremia occurs in healthy patients when kidney ceases to function and urine becomes dark and turbid. There is twitching of the muscles with violent convulsions

Arum Triph : Pain in decayed and broken molar in lower jaw, especially left side. 

Chenopodium: When pain is relieved by sweets. 

Coffea Crud: When pain is relieved by holding cold or ice water in the mouth. 

Calcarea Carb: Toothache during pregnancy, aggravated by cold and rest. Gets relief by walking about. 

Pulsatilla: Pain relieved by holding cold water in the mouth or by walking in open air. Neuralgic toothache in pregnant women. The patient is thirstless and perspires heavily. Worse from warm things and heat of room. 

Phosphorus: When pains aggravate by dipping hands in water. Washer-woman's toothache. 

Hecla Lava 3X: Toothache, gum abscess, swellings about the jaws; difficult dentition. 

Kreosotum: Toothache due to decayed teeth, scrobutic gums. Premature decay of milk teeth. They become yellow, dark and then decay. 

Allium Cepa: When pain is better by cold air or cold washing. It is also relieved by picking or sucking teeth. 

Belladona: Corrects the enlarged feeling of tooth along with throbbing pain in teeth. 

Natrum Mur: Toothache. Teeth very sensitive Pain on drawing the air against the teeth and on pressure of the tongue and of food. Teeth become loose. Drawing pain from the teeth extending to ear. 

Magnatis Polus Arc: Pain in teeth and lower left jaw with swelling, heat and redness of one cheek. Coldness of the body. 

Agaricus M: Pain in teeth and in the upper jaw bone. 

Lycopodium: Gums swollen, hot and tender. Jumping toothache, better by warm drink, worse by touch or pressure on the teeth. 

Sepia: Toothache during pregnancy. 

Antim Crud: Toothache in hollow teeth. Pain sometimes penetrates into the head. Worse at night after eating and from cold water. Touching tooth with tongue causes pain as if nerves were torn; better walking in open air. Gnawing pain in carious teeth after every meal. 

Natrum Carb: Pain in teeth by taking sweets or sweet fruits. 

Bismuth: Toothache relieved by holding cold water in mouth. 

China off: Toothache while nursing the child. 

Clematis: Toothache in a decayed molar tooth, much aggravated from a crumb of bread coming into it; much relieved by cold water. It is also aggravated by smoking tobacco. 

Merc. Sol: When there is inflammation at the root of the decayed teeth. Teeth black and dirty and decay early. Pulsating toothache worse at night or in damp weather. Teeth feel elongated and sore. Worse by cold or hot application. 

Agnus Castus: Toothache from hot food or drinks. 

Hyoscyamus: Toothache with too long, too loose feeling. 

Chamomilla: When pain is. worse by warm food or drink. It is intolerable. Unbearable pain affecting the whole row of teeth with pain radiating to ears and face. Toothache absent during the day and comes on at night as the patient gets into the warm bed. 

Staphisagria: Toothache extending to eyes. Black, crumbling, carious, exfoliating teeth, very sensitive to touch and to cold drinks. Toothache during menses. Gnaw1ng at the roots of decayed eth. Toothache in decayed teeth. Worse by least touch. 

Calcarea Fluor: Is an excellent remedy for toothache when there is shortage of calcium and loss of enamel on the teeth. Toothache if any food touches the teeth. 

Plantago Major: Toothache extending to ears. The tincture of this remedy may be applied locally. It will afford immediate relief. 

Coccinella: Neuralgia of teeth, gums and mouth, worse at night. 

Oleum Ani: Toothache, better pressing the teeth together. 

Magnesia Carb: Toothache before and during menstruation, during pregnancy. Pain on the left side of the face although the roots of the teeth are perfectly sound. 

Natrum Sulph: Toothache worse from warmth and better from cold drinks and cold air. The gums separate from teeth; they get loose and fall out. 

Carbo Veg: Drawing and tearing pains in teeth from hot, cold or saltish food. Bleeding from the gums; spongy gums. Bleeding from teeth when cleaning. Separation of gums from teeth. Whole row of teeth too long and very tender. 

Raphanus: Toothache during early stages of pregnancy. 

Rhododendron: Toothache appearing before or during thunderstorm. 

Arnica M: For bleeding after extraction of teeth, pain produced by filling or excavating of teeth. 

Spigelia: Tearing pains in carious teeth extending to the molar bone of the affected side. Painful jerks in decayed teeth from cold or cold water. Pain worse by resting the head on pillow and relieved on raising the head. 

Alumen: Bleeding from the teeth which decay and the gums recede; teeth become loose. Blood after extraction.

Snoring

Snoring and Homoeopathy
Snoring is the hoarse or harsh sound that occurs when air flows past relaxed tissues in throat, causing the tissues to vibrate as we breathe. Nearly everyone snores now and then, but for some people it can be a chronic problem. Sometimes it may also indicate a serious health condition. In addition, snoring can be a nuisance to our partner.
Symptoms
Snoring is often associated with a sleep disorder called obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Not all snorers have OSA, but if snoring is accompanied by any of the following symptoms, it may be an indication to see a doctor for further evaluation for OSA:
Witnessed breathing pauses during sleep
Excessive daytime sleepiness
Difficulty concentrating
Morning headaches
Sore throat upon awakening
Restless sleep
Gasping or choking at night
High blood pressure
Chest pain at night
Snoring is so loud it's disrupting our partner's sleep
In children, poor attention span, behavioral issues or poor performance in school.
Causes
Snoring can be caused by a number of factors, such as the anatomy of mouth and sinuses, alcohol consumption, allergies, a cold, and over weight.
When we doze off and progress from a light sleep to a deep sleep, the muscles in the roof of mouth (soft palate), tongue and throat relax. The tissues in throat can relax enough that they partially block airway and vibrate.
The more narrowed airway, the more forceful the airflow becomes. This increases tissue vibration, which causes snoring to grow louder.
Alcohol consumption.Snoring can also be brought on by consuming too much alcohol before bedtime. Alcohol relaxes throat muscles and decreases natural defenses against airway obstruction.
Nasal problems. Nasal polyps.Chronic nasal congestion or a crooked partition between nostrils (deviated nasal septum) may contribute to snoring.
Sleep deprivation. Not getting enough sleep can lead to further throat relaxation.
Sleep position. Snoring is typically most frequent and loudest when sleeping on the back as gravity's effect on the throat narrows the airway.
Complications
Habitual snoring may be more than just a nuisance. Aside from disrupting a bed partner's sleep, if snoring is associated with OSA, may be at risk for other complications, including:
Daytime sleepiness
Frequent frustration or anger
Difficulty concentrating
A greater risk of high blood pressure, heart conditions and stroke
An increased risk of behavior problems, such as aggression or learning problems, in children with OSA
An increased risk of motor vehicle accidents due to lack of sleep
Homeopathic Remedies for Snoring
Hippozaeninum-
Noisy breathing and snoring especially in elderly person. Cough and instructed respiration,resulting from scar contraction of mucous membrane of nose and larynx.
Opium –
Opium is a top grade homeopathic medicine for snoring in persons having a deep and heavy sleep. In such cases, there is loud snoring with rattling. A sensation of suffocation and momentary stoppage of breath during sleep may also be present.
Lemna Minor – 
Lemna Minor is very suitable homeopathic medicine for snoring in persons with nasal polyps. Along with snoring, other symptoms are a blockage of the nose, a foul smell from the nose, and post nasal dripping. Use of Lemna Minor should also be considered in cases of snoring from swollen nasal turbinates. Lemna Minor is also used in patients whose condition gets worse in damp and rainy weather. Lemna Minor helps in dissolving the polyps as well the complaints arising from them.
China – 
China is an excellent homeopathic medicine for snoring. It works well for snoring in children. A child with this problem has loud, heavy snoring during sleep. Moaning may also be present along with snoring during sleep. In the morning, the child feels weary and confused. The patient is drowsy and sleepy throughout the day.
Some other very important medicines that can be used as homeopathic treatment for snoring are Kali Sulph, Nux Vomica, Dulcamara, and Laurocerasus. Among them, Kali Sulph is helpful when snoring persists even after the removal of the adenoids. Nux Vomica works well in cases of loud snoring with shallow, oppressed breathing during sleep. The main symptoms that point to the use of Dulcamara are nose blockage, open mouth and snoring during sleep. Laurocerasus is used for snoring when there is a suffocated feeling and gasping for breath present. Anxiety and restlessness while going to sleep may also be present.

Calcarea ostrearum is useful in children who are slow in learning to talk and walk, who are weak at the ankles, and turn their feet in or out according to the muscles that are weakened.
There is a remedy which has been suggested for this weakness of the legs which I have never been able to confirm, and that is PINUS SYLVESTRIS.

This is said to have cured emaciation of the lower extremities, with tardiness in learning to walk in scrofulous children.
